Thankful Learning Center, Inc. is looking for a full-time Teacher for our students. The candidate must have a passion for children with an outgoing personality. Safety and education are top priorities while delivering exemplary customer service to both children and parents. Teachers are responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program for young children that complies with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. They nurture our children, provide meals, crafts, instruction, and ensure students are clean and kept safe.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop and assist in the implementation of daily activities under the guidance of the Group Supervisor/Lead Teacher

Coordinate daily activities and supervising aides in the absence of the Group Supervisor/Lead Teacher

Monitor and discuss the development of students with their parents

Record the the development of students through daily and annual reports

Clean and sterilize all toys and equipment daily

Supervise children at all times

Promote literacy and early education
Job Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field

An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
-
College experience from an accredited college or university, including 15-30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field

1 to 3 years of experience working with children

Should be mature and sensitive to the needs of the children
